Sustainability

For a paper manufacturer, environmental stewardship shouldn’t be an afterthought once economic growth is achieved; it must be embraced as a core social responsibility from the very start.

RawMaterials

Our paper portfolio is rooted in sustainable practices by utilizing materials from sustainable forestry, recycled fibers, alternative fibers, or upcycled products. As we continuously increase the proportion of recycled and upcycled fibers, we simultaneously reduce our reliance on virgin fibers. By using FSC-certified wood pulp, we not only establish a strong foundation for lowering carbon emissions but also leverage the benefits of recycled pulp as a key strategy in addressing climate change. Moreover, the virgin cellulose used in Yixi papers is certified under FSC™ COC or CW standards, ensuring responsible and sustainable forest management throughout our production process.

Environmental Protection

Driven by a deep commitment to environmental protection and worker health, we actively reduce or eliminate the use of harmful chemicals such as DMF, DOP, PVC, formaldehyde, and ammonia. our approach includes sourcing cellulose that has been bleached without chlorine—thus preventing the formation of dioxins. In our production process, we widely utilize water-soluble inks to sidestep the environmental issues associated with organic solvents.

Clean Energy

Acknowledging that paper production is highly energy intensive, we are committed to maximizing the use of renewable energy. Harnessing wind energy dramatically reduces CO₂ emissions compared to fossil fuel alternatives. Our state-of-the-art papermaking equipment not only boosts productivity but also lowers energy consumption and carbon output. Meanwhile, our technical team continuously refines papermaking techniques and adjusts material formulations to optimize raw material ratios and elevate product quality.
